Tuesday - Grinch Random Act of Kindness - Wear green and do something kind to grow the Grinch’s heart Wednesday - Holiday Head Gear - Wear holiday hats, scarves, headbands, etc. Thursday - Mad About Plaid - Wear plaid or flannel Friday - Deck the Zoom - Go all out! Dear Bulldog Families, We hope everyone is continuing to stay healthy and safe during this time. As a staff, please know we miss seeing our kids' smiling faces and families everyday! As I talk to teachers and staff, I hear how each of them wish they were teaching their kids face to face in their classrooms! Next week, May 3-8 is Teacher Appreciation Week. This is a week designated by the National PTA as a special time to honor all educators. This year, especially, we truly r...ecognize and appreciate how our teachers continue to inspire a lifelong love of learning and making a difference in all our kids' well being and success! I am so proud of our Glenview teachers as they left their classroom on a Friday in March, and had to immediately learn how to teach through a Distance Learning program. All teachers accepted this challenge and built a program that keeps getting better each day. I also thank all families for your support in this transition! Since students are not able to thank their teacher in person, we want to encourage all students to reach out to their teacher next week to thank and celebrate them via email. This can be done with a thank you note, emojis, drawings, graphics, pictures, or any other creative way that you may think of. I know our teachers would love to hear from each student! Dear Bulldog families, We hope you are doing well, staying safe and healthy during this time. All your continued support and work with our Bulldog kids is so appreciated during these unprecedented times! We miss them!!... We wanted to update you on the delivery of Mrs. Field's fundraiser. We are working with the vendor on a date for a late May for families to do a "curbside pickup" of all items. Schools are following the "social distance" requirements, so by setting the date near the end of May, we are hoping things will be better. The vendor has all our items and they are stored properly at their facility. Once a date has been determined, you will be notified with the details of the day, time, where, and how to pick up the items.
