The Gen Giammanco Foundation is able to help support student athletes and school programs due in large part to the generous contributions from individuals and the local community. We are hard at work during these challenging times to continue to raise funds.The challenges are great, but the rewards are even greater! The Gen Giammanco Foundation is proud to announce that it has granted Awards to the following 2020 Central Coast graduates: Courtney Bishop (Stevenson), Makayla ...Chassion (Salinas), Dylan Cohan (Carmel), Erika Dearmas (North Salinas), Selly Diallo (Pacific Grove), Rusty Kamitono-Finona (Seaside), Shea Garcia (Aptos), Dane Golden (Palma), Sharrell McDowell (Monterey), Roberto Garza Nunez (MV Christian), Samantha Reich (Salinas), Logan Riggenback (Notre Dame), Angel Trujillo (King City), and Anthony Villegas (Palma). The Gen Giammanco Foundation also renewed the Awards previously granted to: Alexa Aguirre (Salinas '19), Kathryn Bockman (Aptos '17), Nathan Chapman (Salinas '19), Emileo Chavez (Monte Vista Christian '19), Chloe Deleissegues (St. Francis '18), Pierce Gallaway (Carmel '19) Tyler Koran (Salinas '19), Evelin Meza (Greenfield '17), Bradley Watson (Salinas '19), and Veronica Wood (Notre Dame '18). The following graduates have also been granted Awards from Ventura and Santa Clarita: Evan Cox (Canyon HS), Liam McGee (Ventura), Isabel Tenison (Ventura). Renewal Awards were also granted to Cassidy Hubert (Ventrua '19), and KJ Maduike (Golden Valley '17) The amount granted and renewed by the Giammanco Foundation to Monterey County student athletes for the 2020-21 school year totaled $35,000! In addition, The Gen Giammanco Foundation donated $14,458 during the 2019-20 school year to the following Monterey County schools through its Gen's Schools Program: Alisal, King City, Marina, North Monterey County Middle School, North Salinas, Notre Dame, and Salinas. CONGRATULATIONS to all of our 2020 recipients. We look forward to following your academic and athletic achievements!

The Gen Giammanco Foundation is accepting applications for the 2020 Giammanco Awards. The Gen Giammanco Foundation grants financial awards to local high school student athletes who possess the passion and drive to continue their athletic careers in college. All applications must be returned no later than March 31, 2020. Eligibility criteria and applications are available on the Foundation web site at: www.gengiammancofoundation.org.
