Introducing the *Climate Pear* !! Starting this weekend we are having an Asian pear sale. It turns out we humans weren't the only ones to hate that unusually intense heatwave. Our pears were feeling it, too !! Some of our more sensitive pears incurred a small brown spot in their middle right around the seeds due to the extreme heat. For that reason, we are unable to wholesale some of our pears to our normal vendors. But that's where you come in! When it comes to farming, no two years are the same. And this season was definitely no exception! This past spring, increased rainfall interfered with our wonderful apple blossoms, so our apple crop is a little bit thinner than usual this year. This weekend, we are offering ~reduced prices~ on the remaining apples for our u-pickers, as well as access to our edible pumpkin patch. Additionally, we will be hosting interactive games for the children and encourage all interested families to take full advantage of our farm for a nice, relaxing picnic.
