For this #ImpactWednesday we are highlighting Fresno EOC WIC! WIC has helped my family put food on the table. Having a baby right now and trying to figure out how to get his food has been stressful. Fresno EOC WIC helped with all my questions, they provided great resources on their website, and the WIC card makes it a lot easier to shop. - Kyah Shepard, WIC participant. https://fresnoeoc.org/wic-makes-it-easy-for-families-to-sh/"... #ImpactWednesday #CommunityActionResponds #CAPmonth2021 #CAP2021 #CommunityActionMonth2021 #FresnoEOCCAP2021
From 0 to 5 to high school students, Fresno EOC ensures all students have a bright future. Programs like AFLP, Head Start 0 to 5, SOUL Charter High School, and YouthBuild Charter Highschool help children and teens become the best version of themselves. These are just a few of the programs at the forefront of #CommunityAction. On this National Teacher’s Appreciation Day, we recognize the work, commitment, and dedication to the community of the staff, teachers, and educators at... the Fresno EOC. SOUL Charter High School was among the first secondary programs in the country to safely reopen after the shutdown. Today, we spotlight SOUL for #communityactionmonth2021 #WeAreFresnoEOC #FresnoEOCCAP2021 https://fresnoeoc.org/teachers-the-soul-of-community-action/

Homeless people in our community are often unemployed and lack access to training and career opportunities. Thankfully, two Fresno EOC programs, Sanctuary Support Services and Local Conservation Corps are partnering to provide Fresno’s homeless paid job training through funding from the Homeless Emergency Aid Program (HEAP). #WeAreFresnoEOC http://ow.ly/QKSC50CGjSu

November is the month where we recognize family caregivers across the country. Many of our family caregivers are over 50 and undertake significant emotional, physical, and financial tolls. Let's take a moment and say thank you to all our family caregivers. #RAISEcaregiving #NationalFamilyCaregiversMonth #CaregiversMonth
Thank you to Jeannie Flores for donating these Halloween baskets for our Adolescent Family Life Program. The pandemic has come with many challenges, especially for the pregnant and parenting teens we serve. #WeAreFresnoEOC
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, there was an increased need for food distribution services in our community. Central California Food Bank reached out to Fresno EOC Local Conservation Corps to help meet the increased demand.
