On October 19 we filed a complaint against PG&E on behalf of a Kenwood resident who lost her home. Here's the story:

Over the weekend Chris Hendricks of Fox Law - Personal Injury participated in the 8th Annual 100 Wave Challenge, catching over 100 waves and assisting in raising over $300,000 for Boys to Men, a charity that mentors and provides role models for fatherless and high-risk youths in San Diego.

Thanks for coming! We had a great time and a very successful fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club and Mothers Against Drunk Driving!

Our young clients continue to fight for justice for their late father and military veteran Tommy Yancy. Thank you 10News ABC San Diego KGTV for shedding some light onto this very tragic excessive force/wrongful death case.

Manny Valdez from Ringler Associates recently posted a short video of their work with Dave Fox in a very difficult wrongful death motorcycle accident case. A Border Patrol agent responded to a minor traffic incident on a highway. He parked his car in the middle of the road behind a blind corner, rather than on the side of the road, and caused vehicles behind him to stop short. One motorcyclist crashed and tragically died at the scene. The Border Patrol denied any wrongdo...ing for years and blamed the motorcyclist for racing. On behalf of the motorcyclist’s widow and son, Dave and his trial team secured a 100% liability verdict against the Border Patrol. Days before phase 2, the damages trial, was set to start the United States agreed to settle for $5 million dollars. Ringler Associates played an integral part in the process by structuring the clients’ settlement to meet their present and future needs.

Last week, Dave Fox and his trial team obtained a $766,000 verdict for his client Angelica O’Connell. Ms. O’Connell slipped and fell on some water at an Olive Garden and suffered injury to nerves in her hip. The defense argued there was no problem with the floor and there was really no true injury. The jury thought differently, and awarded a great result to a wonderful family.

Last week the University of San Diego School of Law recognized Dave as a Distinguished Alumni for his contributions to the profession and his law school. Dave has taught trial practice at the law school and continues to stay involved with the students, professors, and the administration. Next to Dave are fellow recipients Mike Weaver, Hon Louisa S. Porter (Ret.) and Dean Stephen Ferrulo.

Dave was nominated by the San Diego Plaintiffs' Bar as an Outstanding Trial Lawyer. This award stemmed from a great jury verdict and $1.1 million judgment he received for his client. The client was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk, got hit by a car, and suffered a broken ankle.
