Conviction vs Condemnation Conviction can be a gift from God. The Holy Spirit shows us OUR PART in a situation. It reveals spaces we need to leave behind, and leads to appropriate sorries and I forgive you’s. Conviction can bring us into the life of the Gospel and of grace, and will always lead us into community. Condemnation keeps us from confronting our issues, and keeps us in shame. It’s a voice that tells us we are not good enough and undeserving. Condemnation can... lead us further into isolation and further away from God.
