Tomorrow's Bible story for Kids' Church is about one of the lesser known heros of the Old Testament-Abigail. Kids will discover how Abigial saves the day by making peace between her husband, Nabal, and David. Look for Zoom link in your email.

On Sunday, elementary kids learned that we can show we care about others by walking away from a fight. Talk to your kids about a time when you needed to walk away from an argument.

Tomorrow elementary kids will learn a very important lesson about peace as we look at the story of Isaac and his wells found in Genesis 26. Isaac teaches us that to keep the peace we need to walk away from a fight. Look for Zoom link in your email or contact [email protected] for more information.

On Saturday, families had a blast at the Eggstraordinary Race. Clues took them on a romp all around Howarth Park where they engaged in fun challenges and, of course, collected candy-filled eggs. Take a peek at a few pictures that captured the day. More to follow!

On Easter Sunday, kids talked about how we can have peace with God through Jesus. Today, we will look at ways we can make peace with others.

In this week's Bible story, kids will hear one of the best examples of what happens when you’re not patientthe story of Esau. After a hunting trip, Esau was exhausted and hungry! Jacob takes advantage of this situation and offers a bowl of lentil stew in exchange for Esau’s inheritance. Esau lost something extremely valuable all because he was impatient. Amanda Gorman’s incredible, inspiring, insightful inauguration delivery of a poem show wrote for the occasion is the fruit of someone who has made the most of her God-given talents and abilities. "Make the most of what you’ve been given" is the bottom line of our Bible story this Sunday (Matthew 25: 14-30 Parable of the Bags of Gold.) We will take a look at the talents and abilities that God has given us and be challenged to be responsible, work hard, and not waste a single one of them.

Yesterday, elementary kids looked at Proverbs 6: 6-8. They discovered it is wise to be like the hard-working ant instead of the slow-moving slug!

During October, elementary kids will be talking about Integrity. This Sunday we will begin to unpack the meaning of this big word by looking at the first chapter of Daniel.
