San Diego is enjoying some much needed rain this weekend and into next week I loved catching a walk with my hubby before today’s rain!
Things we need to preserve us.. I think it's important that, besides mask wearing and distancing, we do our part to stay healthy, so we don't overburden hospital's. The media has silenced many of the preventative options that we have to fight viruses such as the one we're dealing with now. I've posted information about Vitamin C and its benefits earlier this year, as it can be used both preventatively and to lower the viral load in our body. ... Please spread the word. People need to know about Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin D3, and Quercitin, as well as herbal medicine that can also boost the immune system, and treat illness (if you have a qualified herbalist you can work with.) These things can keep our systems strong enough to battle almost any flu strain and virus we may have to deal with. Of course, we need to also do what we can to lessen our stress levels with: laughter, funny movies, taking walks, meditation to name a few Try to get 8 hours of good sleep Eat healthy meals that don't overtax our systems (more vegetable or bone broth based soups are great at this time of year.) Stay warm If you're tired, rest. With the hospitals filling up with positive cases, it's imperative that we lessen future cases so that we don't become sick or at least not sick enough to require hospitalization. Unfortunately, with the beds being so full now with viral cases, people who need operations for other life threatening conditions are getting bypassed in many hospitals, due to overcrowding and/or not having enough nurses to cover the need. Stay well.
Wishing you all this day, and beyond, of peace and healing in all ways.
Autumn Yaminess I started loving yam options more as an adult than as a kid. There are so many ways to add some yam to your meal. Yams are usually considered as a thanksgiving side dish, but it’s a healthy flavorful option for any time of the year. ... Here I’m showing my favorite flavors with yam. I cut them up and steam them and add minces fresh ginger and pumpkin pie spice/or cinnamon. They’re even good for breakfast! I then took leftovers and added them to a simple soup with sautéed zucchini and onions with a chicken bone broth. In the other photo, you’ll see it’s mixed in with gluten free chicken meatballs, and sautéed mushroom, onion, garlic, and zucchini. It has lots of flavors and it’s a great add to change up leftovers in your refrigerator! Yams are a great source of Vitamin A (from beta carotene) which is good for your immune system and easy on the digestion, especially with the ginger addition. Bon appetite! #fertilelifestyle #yammygoodness #Fallfoods #eatinghealthy #loveginger #fertilefoods #foodonthego #eatyourveggies #fortheloveoffood
Don't make your waking life and responsibilities so important that you neglect the very real benefits of sleep, rest, and dreaming. The night is your time of restoration. It is essential. God made both day and night for a reason. #fertilelifestyle #getenoughsleep #dreamtimeisnecessary
