Wednesday morning ritual; surf session before work! A surfer asked what I do and after I told him that I practice Chinese Medicine, he then asked me if I treat myself. I told him that I don’t like to needle myself but I do if I have to and I do take herbal formulas and living in a way that Chinese Medicine recommends such as sleeping early, eating wholesome, organic food, exercise, meditation etc. Half an hour later on my last wave of the day, the fin of my board hit my hand ...and the board hit my face ! Luckily my face is ok and I did not break my metacarpal but I did bruised the bone and caused a painful, swollen tissue around my 5th metacarpal bone. So I went to my clinic earlier and needled myself and put a medicated plaster! Weekend project: reading and learning about gardening and permaculture!
