Well, suffice it to say it was a very bazaar Presidential election! Regardless of our political views and affiliations, it will be interesting to see what President-Elect ACTUALLY does for each of us during his first 2 Yrs. in office. What are YOUR thoughts?

Senate takes action to protect American innovations.

On the one hand, I suppose it's good for the U.S. economy to increase exports of all kinds; however, we're still importing oil from other countries, and so I wonder why we are exporting U.S. oil to other countries instead of using it here in the U.S. while also importing oil from other countries. Can anyone explain this?

Frankly, I'm still perplexed about exactly what a "Chicken Nugget" is actually made of. Now the FDA invites commentary from the public about how to define "natural" in food labeling. I invite your thoughts on this question.

Well, at least Congress has done something to provide a bit of tax relief to the average consumer.

I note the first part of the 2nd Amendment states "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, ..." As I understand it, our National Guard and various state Guards can be defined as "Militia", often incorporating "Citizen Soldiers", and which operate under numerous written regulations. So perhaps our National and state Guards should be having a much, MUCH more active participation in Homeland Security? I invite anyone's comments on this question, including vigorous dissent.
