There are a number of reviews touting the benefits of ashwagandha root for tension and anxiety. It certainly doesn't have the side effects of drugs used for similar purpose. Consult you prescribing physician before you decrease or stop using medications.

Always good to review the basics. Particularly vegetables which many of us could do better at getting the 5 daily servings -- approximately 2 1/2 cups. If you are not there yet, don't fret. Start where you are, commit to doing a daily serving level and each week increase amount by a serving and you will be there in no time.
