Monday, April 18th is the 2015 tax deadline. Generally, April 15th is the deadline unless the date falls on a legal holiday, Saturday, or Sunday. Friday, April 15th is Emancipation Day, so tax year 2015 returns are due Monday, April 18th!

The IRS announced that the 2016 tax season officially opens Tuesday, January 19th and will begin accepting individual electronic returns on that day!
