My favorite part of the week lately. @prestonrbailey has been my favorite in the business from the beginning. His work is astoundingly beautiful but he is also the most authentic human in the industry.

So yesterday was International Women's Day. I thought about jumping online to make a post about it but being a woman got in the way. My Mondays are generally spent at home doing family things. Yesterday was a day to snuggle up on the couch with Presley. I spent some time thinking about the fact that next week is my birthday. It starts the beginning of my last year in my forties. Some women are afraid to talk about their age but I see each day as something I have conquered and... loved. As I look back over the last 48 years, I can see that even the battles were worth every second. As women, we are complex creatures. It is built into us to take care of everything we possibly can and then some. We also want to feel beautiful, we want people to appreciate our creativity, we want people to see our strength, and we want a partner in life to give us a soft place to land when it all becomes too much. I celebrate being a woman, wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, friend, and creative every single day. I feel divinely blessed to be a woman and have the ability to be all of these things. Spring is knocking at the door! We are planning some of the unique and interesting small gatherings this year. This is one of our favorites for a client who always gives us a chance to create somethimg fun. We love transforming a small blank space into something unexpected. This room went from an outdoor back patio to this bright and whimsical event after much work and planning. We loved every minute of it. Today our caring and outstanding @expoeventsandtents forgave the rental fees for the restaurant owners tent costs while they are closed. It isn't something they had to do or even could afford easily themselves. They simply chose to give a wonderful gift to our local business owners. You guys make us so proud!
