April 28 is World Psychologist’s Day and this year it’s a particularly timely moment to acknowledge the impact of psychologists. Along with the physical and financial havoc wreaked by COVID-19, the pandemic has negatively affected mental health. Recognizing Psychologist’s Day raises mental health awareness and importance of the role of psychologists around the world.

30-day Countdown! U.S. Census Bureau - We have till Sep 30th! #WriteIranian #IraniansCount 10 minutes of your time will determine benefits for YOU and OUR community for the next 10 YEARS and beyond. WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?... The number of Iranian-Americans has historically been underrepresented in U.S. Census data. The underrepresentation can be attributed to the lack of participation in the census surveys. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, a total of roughly 300,000 individuals identified themselves as Iranian or Iranian-American, in the 2010 Census. However, the actual number is believed to be far greater and in order to be recognized as a minority group similar to Italian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Irish, etc. we must respond to the Census. HOW SHOULD YOU RESPOND TO THE "RACE" QUESTION NUMBER 9? If you would like to be counted as an Iranian, in your response to question number 9 mark [X] any single Race box that you most identify with, and make sure you write-in IRANIAN in the text-box below it. IMPORTANT: DO NOT MARK [X] ON MULTIPLE RACE BOXES unless you truly identify yourself as being from Two or More Different Races.
