EBJI founder and program director David Matsumoto Sensei became the head instructor in 1983 (38 years ago)! At 61 years young he still gets on the mat weekly to practice with his family. From its humble beginnings, EBJI is now one of the leading schools of #judo instruction in the United States. Our instructional staff includes many current and former national champions and members of EBJI have participated in events all over the world including the World Championships and Ol...ympic Games. However despite our dojo member’s many accolades, the main goal of the EBJI for students to develop their minds and characters, as well as their bodies, through training in Judo. The development of perseverance, modesty, and respect for others are the aims of Kodokan Judo and of the EBJI. #morethanasport #buildinggoodpeoplethroughjudo #judofamily #dojofamily #judoka #ebjijudo
