Drug Safe Solano's October Free virtual Community Narcan training is scheduled for October 23rd from 5-6pm. Come learn from subject matter experts about opioids, the opioid epidemic in Solano county, how to identify and treat an overdose! DSS is proud to announce that our partner Fighting Back Partnership is hosting online support session for mothers and fathers! Fighting Back Partnership offers a free online program for fathers named Nurturing Fathers. These sessions focus on being "the best dad you can be by doing your best!" Sessions are every Wednesday from 6-7pm until November 11th. Fighting Back Partnership is also offering an online session for moms called Returning to Work With Confidence. Drug Safe Solano will be using the whole month to emphasis the importance of ridding your home of unwanted and expired medications, how to safely dispose of medications, drug take back locations and products that can be used for safe disposal at home.
