All dog owners alert! Join this group and check out the tables. The dilated cardiomyopathy is apparently related to low taurine levels. It seems like a lot of golden retrievers are on the lists but it's other breeds as well. You can check out the FDA notice by Googling it. But this group is naming names as far as dog foods. Of course, the jury is completely out and the group is carefully acknowledging the information is being collected. Nobody is saying anything conclusively because the research is still being conducted. But it does give you a guideline on what has happened to other people and their dogs and what dog foods were fed.
