2020 turned out to be one of my favorite years. It was the perfect life halftime. I was able to purge a lot of excess around the house and yard - then eventually my body (35lbs! Dad bod and beer gut gone!!). Reset weight & BMI back to my teenage yrs (just a lot wiser now). Ready for 2021 and the 2nd half of life! #thankyou2020 Side note: it took a pandemic, but I discovered there is no shortcut, gadget, or diet to get fit. I tried many over the decades but regularly getting the heart rate up and breaking a sweat is the only way. My mentor worked out daily as soon as he woke up - I thought he was crazy - I get it now.

Happy New Year! 2021 is already looking promising for Mr Bonsai 2020 was full of patience, perseverance, persistence, and prudence for all. Hopefully we can add "peace" to that this year. #5Ps (I think I found a new hobby)

Somehow I've found a way to be with my parents and brother on Christmas every year since I moved to San Diego 30+ years ago, and we've always had dim sum for Christmas brunch. Due to COVID, both streaks ended today. Thankful for FaceTime, but not quite the same. Looking forward to starting a new streak in 2021. Hope everyone found a way to have a Merry Christmas! Here's this year's Christmas card. Didn't get mailed yet (but will be printed soon), and I couldn't think of anything better than last year's drone shot. However, it's still pretty impressive I have the photos from our card 10 years ago. No tears this time. The tree got smaller as the kids got bigger.
