CES Group Pitching Lessons with Leann Emery Premiere Pitching Instructor /Owner of Cutting Edge Softball Sundays March 15th, 22nd, 29th, *Small Groups 6-8 Pitchers per group... *9:00-9:40 am, 9:40-10:20 am (possible afternoon class ) *Creating strong pitching fundamentals, *Change-up and possible 3rd pitch for those more advanced *Space is limited, to register: [email protected] *Group lessons will continue on into April & May on Sundays *There are no make-ups for group lessons. *Pitchers must provide their own catcher, Cost: $105.00 3 lessons @ 40 mins per lesson * Lessons will be held at a local field, in South San Jose Area. email for more details

Congratulations to 2019 Senior from Saint Francis High School, Jordan Schuring! Jordan has been taking lessons at CES since she was 10 years old. Jordan not only developed a relationship with Leann, but also a bond with her dad who caught every lesson. Leann has guided Jordan and pushed her to her best ability helping develop all her pitches, accuracy and velocity. Leann was the constant who always supported her, challenged her, and motivated her to achieve her goals. Jordan ...says that Leann was the constant in my softball career, when I was struggling she helped me through and when I was succeeding, she was there cheering me on. Jordan played on varsity at St Francis all 4 years. Jordan is also a 2018 CCS Champion. Her Junior year, Jordan not only won CCS, but was also awarded First Team All-State. I was honored to receive First Team All-State. Jordan’s ambitious goals of playing Division I softball started coming into focus after these achievements. Jordan says, The recruiting process was an intense roller coaster ride, but she achieved her goals when she committed to play softball at Boise State University. Jordan plans to study Criminal Justice and Mathematics when she starts in the fall. The wild ride was worth it as I found my dream school, softball program, and coaches at Boise State. Congratulations 2019 Senior from Santa Teresa High School, CES pitcher Cayla Williams! Cayla was a 4 year varsity player, and has been taking lessons with Leann at CES since she was 10 years old. Leann has helped Cayla become the best pitcher she could be by teaching her accountability, and how to push out of her comfort zone. Along with softball skills, Leann has helped Cayla grow as an individual by encouraging her to be hard working and to focus on herself. Cayla had a ver...y successful season as an ST Saint. She had been on varsity for the past 3 years, but hadn’t branched out and was quiet on the team. Cayla jumped into senior year with a new mindset. She was team captain and embraced her voice and started leading by example. She wanted to be a teammate anyone could rely on. This new found leadership was a huge turning point for Cayla’s softball career. She ended her final season as a Saint with a 1.77 ERA, 77 K’s, and a .629 batting avg, 6HR’s. Cayla has also won awards all 4 years in high school. She was BVAL Freshman of the Year, BVAL Sophomore of the Year, Santa Teresa Sophomore Pitcher of the Year, Santa Teresa Junior MVP, BVAL Senior of the Year, and Santa Teresa Senior MVP. Cayla will be continuing her softball career at West Valley in the fall. She picked West Valley because she wanted to stay close to home and still wanted time to figure out what she wants to study. Cayla is excited to start at West Valley and also is excited to have two years to mature mentally. We are super excited for you Cayla! Look forward to following your journey!
