The American Council of Learned Societies is hosting a discussion on Race and Racism on Wednesday, September 30 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm (PST) featuring Khalil Gibran Muhammad (which some of you have read for MA exam prep!) and Bianca Williams. The Association of Asian American Studies is hosting a Virtual Book Fair this week via Zoom. Professor Susie Woo (author of Framed by War: Korean Children and Women at the Crossroads of US Empire) and UC Irvine Professor Long Bui (author of Returns of War: South Vietnam and the Price of Refugee Memory) will be discussing their books this Thursday, August 13 from 1-2pm.
