ROOTS! Everybody has them, good or bad. We love our roots and have learned so much from our history as a gym. Where did you start? And what did you learn about yourself the first year in the gym? ... This is a classic gym photo from our first year operating. #crossfit #solid #core #nipomo #roots

Let Me Tell You About CrossFit.

Coach Jeanette is new to coaching at Solid Core, but we have known Jeanette for years and have seen her go from novice to competitor. Her dedication is impressive and we are so glad to have her as part of our team! #solidcore #crossfit #nipomo #muscleups #dedication Repost from @jeanette_janet From 3 Ring muscle ups to 7...it only took me 3 years . To some people this is not a huge difference but to me this shows growth mentally and physically. Acknowledging you have a we...akness is the first step...taking initiative to work on that weakness is the next step. Very few people make it passed the first step, let alone make progress so I will take this as a win! I, like many others, did not have a gym to workout at during Covid from March-July. I still managed to find ways to work on muscle-ups, even if it meant hanging some rings on a tree and hoping the branch didn’t snap. Thanks to @crossfitsolidcore for allowing me to be apart of your gym! Oh and that dude standing in my video @returnofdmac25 has also had a huge part in this accomplishment ... these videos are three years apart and yet he continues to be supportive and always trying to help make me better! Last but not least...one more shoutout to @tinomarini and @invictus_athlete. Tino has been my coach for 2 years now and we communicate daily whether it’s about working out, life, work, or everything going on in the world. Thank you Tino, for keeping me disciplined and for all the great programming, even if I send you hate messages after workouts !
