Mr.Soliva's class did some DIY buttons during digital art class! (Maybe some of our students will start their own Etsy business soon. )

Although we would love to take our kids on field trips this year, we are finding creative ways to still bring learning alive! Thank you to the Marine Science Institute, for hosting the Delta Discovery Zoom sessions with our 5th-grade class. Our students learned about the water cycle, where our drinking water comes from (the San Joaquin and Sacramento rivers), our local catchment areas, and treatment plants. They even classified fish from the Delta using a fish classification chart! ... and now they will create posters encouraging other students to protect our local canals and waterways!
