Clearwater residents collected oodles of socks and donated them to one of Santa Rosa's Homeless Service Centers last weekend. The center was thrilled to receive them because socks are the clothing item they need the most. We were happy to do it! #PayItForward

We are excited to announce that Clearwater Living has been certified as a Great Place to Work! We're honored to have earned this achievement as it demonstrates our commitment to putting people first.

We celebrated Thanksgiving by drinking mochas, watching the Macy's Day Parade, and decorating Savor Restaurant with re-purposed pumpkins and chair décor. Some residents enjoyed puzzles and gratitude writing, while others had family visits which included beloved pets. We hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving!

Everyone had a blast at our Halloween party! The celebration featured singing pumpkins, storytelling ghosts, lots of dry ice (great for a witches brew!) and a palm reading den. Happy Halloween from Clearwater at Sonoma Hills!

Martha beat the Lifestyle team 3-1 at bocce ball. We love her competitive spirit, even if ours gets a little bruised in the process! Fun fact: Martha used to play softball!

We indulged ourselves with gorgeous fall flowers on Saturday. We arranged and rearranged the flowers, ate apple caramel pie, enjoyed coffee & pumpkin cookies, and listened to Frank Sinatra! Being creative and social were the keys to a happy day.

"I haven't done art in years" she said. "I'll try, but it probably wont turn out" she said. We disagree! Irene is an artist! We love these moments when we tap into a talent that has been dormant for years. Irene was quite pleased and so were we.

Courtyard yoga is a hit. We love the crisp, cool mornings outside doing yoga. It's as much for the mind as it is for the body. Empowered Living!

Today was a great day for homemade pizza piping hot from our very own pizza oven. Thank you Chef Jeff for a really fun lunch!

The next team member we would like to introduce you to is our Business Office Director, Calista Campbell! Born and raised in Rohnert Park, Calista has had the privilege of raising her 3 children in her own hometown. Growing up in a large family and being the oldest of 23 grandkids, family is everything to her. So after spending 20 years working at a local car dealership, she made the decision to start a new path with senior living. She has greeted the new journey with arms wide open as the residents fill her heart. Other loves of her life include cooking, baking, and all things nature!

The multi-talented Priyanka Varma came and offered us a Bollywood dance performance yesterday! Even our team members couldn't help themselves from joining in! Physical Fitness comes in so many forms. We are staying active and healthy at Clearwater Living.

When a resident says she wants a women's tea event...we throw a women's tea event! It was so fun to offer 3 kinds of tea complete with 2 different specialty sugars. We did a blind tasting and played a get-to-know you game called Spill the Tea!
