There will be a Social Etiquette program for girls ages 8-18 beginning July 16, 2015. Girls 8-18 years old will learn how to effectively present themselves by way of grooming and personal style, proper behavior and manners, dining etiquette, and cyber etiquette and safety. This program cultivates and enriches soft skills in our girls to be more desirable and competitive in their personal, collegiate and professional endeavors. The City of Oakland is excited to partner with Social Etiquette Coach Karen Kennedy to bring the youth of Oakland an all expense paid 6 week program derived from the Lady Blossoms Social Etiquette Program for Girls.

Here are some photos from last week's Girls' Hangout Day. The girls came out and had a ball. There was a kickball game, double dutch competition, a jumper, nail painting, face painting, a photo booth, dance, food, games and more. It's a blast introducing girls to sports and new things.
