A big thanks goes out to Girl Scout Troop #2796. These sweet young ladies with their troop leaders and moms brought over much needed blankets, toys for the animals, homemade treats, and more. Great job young ladies and thank you!

Daisy and Optimus came into the shelter the 16th of October. They were very shy and shut down. One of our amazing volunteers has been working with them and we are happy to announce they are now available for adoption. We think these two are litters mates. They can still be shy at first but they warm up quickly and love getting affection. Both are learning to walk well on leash and both seem eager to please. Please come down and meet these two sweethearts!!

Good morning!! We are currently reaching out to the community for help with our large dogs. We are looking for adopters and fosters. We currently have 11 large dogs that are already spayed/neutered. We would like to focus on them while we spay/neuter other dogs and get them ready for foster and adoption. If you foster through us, we will provide all the supplies needed from food to crates. Having dogs go into foster helps us determine the best potential adoptions for them. It also gives the dogs a chance to decompress from the stress of being in a shelter. Dog adoption fees for this month are $10 and cover vaccines, microchips, and the spay/neuter surgeries.

This Month’s Spotlight goes to.... Ellee Lincoln!! She is one of our kitten fosters and a huge asset to the team. She enjoys fostering the bottle babies as well as the older orphaned kittens. Fostering bottle babies is a full time gig and without people like her to take on this task many orphaned kittens would not have a chance. Thank you for all that you do, Ellee! :) If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming a foster you can call (661)852-7060 to make an appointment to fill out an application, you can also comment below and a volunteer will send you a private message with more information #FosteringSavesLives #AdoptDontShop #CommunityVolunteers #spayandneuteryourpets #FosteringIsFun
