Just finished a two hour security meeting with the French Consulate. This meeting was moved up the schedule to cover some of the current critical issues. First the terrorist situation affecting France and the French citizens, and then the elections tomorrow. It was recommended that we go home early tomorrow night and that we stay off the street. They have been in touch with the local authorities which have prepared for any eventuality. Remember Long Beach was heavily targeted by looters when protesters took to the streets after the death of George Floyd. Please be safe!
