Its your friendly neighborhood FSUSD lunch lady againJust a reminder that this week we will be serving our weekly food boxes for students at all 5 locations (1...location on each day) We will then be on break for the following 2 weeks. I wanted to make sure everyone has the information for the food bank for anyone who might need it. Please remember to just be nice.... you never know what battles others are facing GET FOOD FAIRFIELD COMMUNITY PRODUCE PROGRAM We provide 15-20 pounds of FREE fresh produce to low-income families and individuals twice a month. Please bring two bags with handles. Sites noted with a (+) are drive-thru distributions that offer produce, perishable and non-perishable food. Choose ONE location: (+) Dan O. Root Elementary, 820 Harrier Dr, Suisun City, 1st & 3rd Wednesday, 4:00-5:00pm True Love Baptist Church, 1956 Pennsylvania Ave, Fairfield, 2nd & 4th Wednesday, 12:00-1:00pm Salvation Army-Fairfield, 1216 Missouri St, Fairfield, 2nd & 4th Thursday, 12:00-1:00pm. (+) WIC Fairfield, 2101 Courage Dr, Fairfield, 2nd & 4th Thursday, 2:00-3:00 pm. Salvation Army-KROC Center, 586 E. Wigeon Way, Suisun City, 1st & 3rd Friday, 12:00-1:00pm. There will be no distribution at Salvation Army-KROC Center on January 1, 2021. Cleo Gordon Elementary, 1950 Dover Ave, Fairfield, 1st & 3rd Friday, 2:00-3:00pm. There will be no distribution at Cleo Gordon Elementary on January 1, 2021. Dover Academy, 301 E. Alaska Ave, Fairfield, 1st & 3rd Friday, 4:00-5:00pm. There will be no distribution at Dover Academy on January 1, 2021. FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FREE groceries once a month for low-income individuals and families. Bring a picture ID and proof of address (PG&E bill, for example). St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1600 Union Ave, Fairfield, 2nd Wednesday, 9:30-10:30am True Love Baptist, 1956 Pennsylvania Ave, Fairfield, 3rd Wednesday, 10:00am-12:00pm FOOD FOR CHILDREN Boxes of FREE healthy food every month for children ages 4-6 years old. Bring a picture ID and proof of address (PG&E bill, for example), as well as proof of child’s birthday. Fairfield Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1101 East Tabor Ave, Fairfield, 3rd Friday, 10:00am-12:00pm. The December 18 distribution at Seventh Day Adventist has been rescheduled to December 11. SENIOR FOOD PROGRAM FREE groceries twice a month to low-income individuals aged 55 or older. Only one senior per household can receive food. Bring a picture ID and proof of address (PG&E bill, for example). St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1600 Union Ave, Fairfield, 1st & 3rd Wednesday, 9:30-10:30am

Child Nutrition at the Vacaville Unified School District continues to give out FREE weekly meal boxes for anyone 18 years and younger! Here is the schedule for ...the distribution: Will C. Wood High School: Every Tuesday 6-9 am Willis Jepson Middle School: Every Wednesday 6-9 am Sierra Vista K-8: Every Thursday 6-9 am Vaca Peña Middle School: Every Friday 6-9 am No ID required and parents/guardians can pick up on student’s behalf. We also serve hot lunches daily (includes a breakfast for the next morning) from 11 am - 1 pm at Alamo, Callison, Fairmont, Markham, and Padan. These are also free to anyone 18 years and younger. Come see us!
