To the community we serve! Now that flu season is here, and with the recent increase in COVID cases, we are making some changes to our COVID policy. We will continue to require that masks are worn throughout the entire visit.... Starting on 11/19/20, our questions about COVID will be guided towards contact. We will be asking the following: 1. In the last 14 days, have you, or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID? 2. In the last 14 days, have you, or anyone in your household, come in contact with anyone who has tested positive, or been exposed to COVID? If you can answer yes to either of those questions, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment, either 14 days after answering this question, or if you test negative for COVID before those 14 days are up. Also, as a general rule, we are asking patients and family members that if you are not feeling well, and/or are exhibiting any symptoms, you simply give us a call and reschedule your appointment. The safety of our community, patients and staff is of the utmost importance. Thank you for following through on these guidelines. We are all in this together. Happy Holidays!

Here at HBCC, the experience the patient has, from registration, to exam, is our number one priority! We are unveiling a new process for check in, that will allow patients to check in, before your appointment, from your home. Simply go to our website: https://chicobreastcare.com/patient-portal/ ... and then click to enter the portal. Once you are there you can pre-register and fill out all of the forms needed, before you even enter our center. By doing this, you are skipping the line, and making your registration and check in time, minimal. You can also view your results and images, as soon as they are ready, all from the safety of your home. If you have any questions, give us a call. We look forward to seeing you soon.

As we close out Breast Cancer Awareness month, it is important to remember that, while we may not spend the entire year talking about breast cancer and awareness, it doesn't mean you should forget. Screenings are essential, knowing family history is key and regularly checking your breasts for abnormalities can save your life. Here at HBCC we continue to serve our community at the standard for breast care.... We hope you enjoyed our month of celebration and awareness!

HBCC Patients! We are implementing a new paperless and quicker check in process here at our center. We are going to begin using iPads to do our patient intake.... This process will start tomorrow. If you have an appointment, our hope is that this new process is quick and easy. You can also pre-check in, before your visit! More information is available at the front desk for our pre-check in services.

The American Cancer Society has been a staple in raising awareness for years. The ACS has raised more than $69 Million that are currently invested in breast cancer research grants. In 2019, they provided more than 490,000 free rides to and from treatment.... More than 9,700 one-on-one support services were provided to breast cancer patients in 2019. As we close out Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we will be raffling off many wonderful baskets and gifts.
