Each year, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and are reminded of the power of diversity. Many organizations are putting diversity and inclusion as a primary goal for 2020, as well they should. Last year, I was honored to be part of a talented and knowledgeable group of humans who shared our thoughts Starting the Conversation -Challenges on the Road to a Diverse Industry at the OTT_X@Pipeline ’19. This presentation was during the annual conference put on by OTT X (T...he Over The Top Exchange, formerly Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) which supports the home entertainment industry including digital retailers, channels, content providers, networks, platforms, and MVPDs. As the industry is evolving, so is the need for knowledge in the area of diversity and inclusion. I was proud to be among the panel participants to share and encourage on-going conversations and, more importantly, forward action to expand this needed initiative. Excited to attend the annual HR Star Conference today in Los Angeles! The cost to attend is to give a donation of goods for distribution for the local homeless community. Socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste is my small donation.
