Chico Outlaws Professional Baseball Team

The Chico Outlaws played 7 seasons in Chico (2005-2011), and many Outlaws fans remember the 2010 season as one of their favorites! Ten years ago today, September 19 2010, the Outlaws beat the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (in Maui!!) to win their second Golden Baseball League championship. It was a great end to an amazing season, and the team got to celebrate in Hawaii! The Outlaws won that championship game by a score of 7-1, and ended the season with a record of 55-30. 2010 was also ...Dave Kaval’s last season with the Golden Baseball League (he was GBL chief executive and one of the league founders, and if his name sounds familiar it’s because he is now the president of the Oakland Athletics!). It was 10 years ago yesterday that the Chico Outlaws played their 2010 season home opener at Nettleton Stadium, and 10 years ago tonight that Eri Yoshida made her pitching debut for the Outlaws. We know it's been a LONG time since you got an update from this page, but we had to let you all know that Chico Outlaws alumni Blake Gailen is playing in the World Baseball Classic for Team Israel!!! Team Israel plays Team Chinese Taipei tonight (March 6) at 7 pm Pacific time. Check this out! Former Chico Outlaws outfielder Maikel Jova, now playing with the San Rafael Pacifics, is getting married this Sunday on the field before the Pacifics game! Maikel played outfield for the Outlaws in their championship 2010 season, hit .294 for the season, and had a great walk-up song! Congrats Maikel and fiancée Diany! BIG CONGRATS to the World Series champion Boston Red Sox, and especially to Chico Outlaws alumni Daniel Nava! Daniel played left field for the Outlaws in their champion 2007 season. We could not be any prouder of him!!!! LIKE this to congratulate Daniel!!!

A group of Outlaws fans, booster club members, and former host families got together this weekend at the End Zone to talk baseball and reminisce about the fun times at the Nett. They also drank a toast to getting pro baseball back in Chico soon!
