The Catalina Film Society will be screening Wanda the Wonderful Wednesday 10/21 at 7:00 pm at Overlook Hall. Listen to the interview with writer/director/producer Carolyn Macartney as she tells the stories of her grandmother, and bringing them to the big screen.

Our Catalina Film Fest team is heartbroken to have lost our close friend and one of our biggest supporters. Wes Craven was not only a ground-breaking legend in ...cinema, but one of the sweetest and most encouraging men we have had the pleasure of collaborating with. As the winner for our annual "Wes Craven Award" was just picked days ago, it's with heavy, but proud and inspired, hearts that we will be able to honor his legacy, vision, and spirit. While few words ever seem good enough at a time of such sadness, we are planning a tribute to honor Wes and his family for how gracious he was with his time, his selfless mentorship, and the incredible impression he left on the world of film. Wes, your fight was beyond admirable these past few months, and your flame will live on in our industry forever, inspiring countless generations. Rest in Peace, Wes XOXOXO
