If you haven't had the privilege of meeting Fire Captain (Ret.) David Jones, there are a few things you should know about him. David wears many hats, he's a hus...band, father, grandfather, a Fire Marshal for both CAL FIRE and NASA, and...a Food Unit Leader. He's been assigned for the last two months to the River/Carmel Fires, and most recently, to the Creek Fire. Despite being "retired" he has been working around the clock to make sure firefighters are fed, and with 3,675 personnel assigned to the Creek Fire, that's no small feat! From all of us at Pebble Beach CSD/Cypress FPD/Carmel Highlands FPD/BEU CAL FIRE, we wanted to say, "Thank you!" See more
