We put the work in with our workouts at the barre, but we also need to fuel our bodies with healthy & nutritious foods. What we eat and specifically, healthy eating, is so important to get the results we desire! This is why we have our #truebarre #kitchen and share weekly recipes on our newsletter, to make sure we’re getting that tasty & healthy food into our bodies! We also LOVE making r...ecipes & meals that are inspired by the season! Apples are one of the amazing fruits of the season! Apple pie is one of our favorite desserts. so we were inspired to create these apple pie protein pancakes! Who doesn’t want to enjoy dessert in the morning and have it be healthy & guilt free too?! These pancakes are delicious, balanced, healthy, and super simple to make! The whole family can enjoy them! And you can even make extra to keep in the fridge to heat up on the go! Have those healthy meal prep options ready to go! We hope you love these as much as we do! ENJOY! Recipe APPLE PIE PROTEIN PANCAKES *1 scoop protein powder (we used vanilla protein powder for this recipe. You can use vanilla or can use chocolate or any flavor you desire) *1/4 cup egg whites *1/2 cup applesauce *1/4 cup oats *1 tsp cinnamon 1. Mash the banana in a bowl with the almond milk. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir together until everything is combined. (**If you need more liquid you can add a little bit more almond milk. Or if the batter seems too liquidy you can add some more mashed banana or a little bit more protein powder.) 3. Heat a pan over medium-low heat and spray with cooking spray. Pour batter in the pan into small pancakes evenly. This batter should make 3 pancakes and this batter makes 1 full serving. 4. Cook the pancakes until the edges bubble and carefully flip the pancakes to cook the other side. 5. Serve with berries or any fruit desired and if desired can drizzle with a little agave nectar or maple syrup.
