If passed, it would offer grants to nonprofits providing a variety of important services, unlock more giving with a short-term charitable tax deduction, and ensure that nonprofit organizations of all stripes have access to loans now made available to for-profit businesses. Our camps c...onsist of a 2-week experience either for backpacking first timers or the more experienced. Whilst on camp you will have your own private house to build your community and enjoy each other’s company. Check out the camps activities below. Intermediate camp: July 12th - July 18th: The best of both worlds! Get to set off on your wilderness journey with both a 3 and 5-day hike on trail. You will explore the freedom that comes with the simple life of a hiker and develop your outdoor skills whilst having the support and guidance from your councillors. Back on site at Camp Woolman you get to enjoy your own home just for you, alongside: swimming trips, offsite trips, cultural experiences, cooking workshops, arts and crafts sessions and chances to prove yourself as a leader. Advanced camp June 28th July 11th: Really push yourself and take ownership of your camp with a 9-day backpacking trip. Learn more in depth navigation, camp cooking and wilderness tricks alongside leadership and decision-making skills. Alongside your epic trip there are offsite trips, cultural experiences and surprise treats that await back on the Camp Woolman site.
