Custodial section supervisor Ray Resto was interviewed recently about being an essential employee at Caltech. Here are the questions and answers. 1. What’s one thing that’s stood out to you during this transition? Constant changing and adapting of the scheduling... 2. What is the experience like on campus these days? Cleaning is more directed towards new areas and sanitation of hot spots. 3. What do you want people to know about your work during this time? Its for the community and their safety and its essential. This is what essential operations are for. 4. What do you hope you work will allow Caltech to accomplish during this period? A better understanding of what it means to be prepared. 5. What are you excited for when our whole campus community returns? Hopefully people will be more aware, and things will return back to normalcy.
