Blue Oak Ranch Reserve

We are recovering from a successful 33rd annual UC NRS Management Workshop. 103 people attended the 3 day event last week which provided discussions, demonstrations and hands-on activities about many topics including using drones for research, safety considerations at our reserves and field stations, science education for K through gray, and a tour of the Lick Observatory. The first RANA award (Reserve Artist Naturalist Award) was given to Edward Rooks for his many contributions of photography, paintings and inventing our new logo! And the food provided by Irina and Jeff from The Dancing Chef was delicious!
