Holstein Classifications Cal Poly was able to conduct their Holstein Classifications on June 11, 2020. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers and employees who helped achieve the great results that are below! 3 New 90 Point Holsteins and 1 New 92 Point Holstein (Cal Poly now has 7 Excellent 90 Point Holsteins and 1 92 Point Holstein Cow) 70% of 1st Lactation Holsteins are scored as 80 or Higher with 19% being VG 85. We have two 1st Lactation Holsteins that went VG 87.... 28 New VG Cows, 11 of which were 2-year-olds, resulting in 44% of the Holstein Herd being Classified as VG 85+ and 88% of the Holsteins being scored 80 or Higher.
