INTERNSHIP SPOTLIGHT~ Adilenne Ramirez is from Gonzales, CA, and is a 2nd year Plant Science major with a minor in Ag Business! Adi interned with the vegetable breeding company Rijk Zwaan as the farm assistant. Over the summer, she helped plant, evaluate, and collect data for a variety of vegetable trials. I was working closely with their lettuce breeding program and the development of a new RZ project, which were some of the highlights of my internship. I loved learning from the RZ team!
