Meeting with Western Municpal and tackling regional issues.
Please join me on October 3rd and meet Kelly.
Today, September 11th, is the 19th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on New York’s Twin Towers, the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and the airplane that crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. In total, almost 3,000 lives were lost. As a result of COVID, New York City had decided to cancel its 9/11 tribute. In response, a group of Canyon Lake Residents formed the 9/11 Tribute in Light Canyon Lake Facebook Group. The group decided to honor those who lost their lives and tho...se that responded by lighting up the City and surrounding neighborhoods with blue lights. Residents of Canyon Lake, Tuscany Hills, Canyon Hills, Lake Elsinore and neighboring unincorporated areas of Riverside are encouraged to purchase blue lights and turn them on at 9:11 p.m. on 9/11. Two large blue spotlights will shine straight up at the Canyon Lake Lodge, which should be visible to the surrounding areas. Facebook Live streaming will be available and drone coverage will also be provided. #CLwillneverforget See more

Thank you to all who keep our water and wastewater flowing 24/7/365. These are not just "workers" these men and women are public health heroes.
During the last few days, in one of the worse heat waves in recent history, your energy provider used rolling blackouts to manage this critical resource. You may not be able to count on your energy provider, but Tap Water Delivers 24/7! Planning matters!
If you called and couldn’t get through, your patience is appreciated!
Algae Sampling Results: Thank you all for your patience. For the typical sampling lake locations, the algae results came back at a CAUTION level or at non-detection. In 17 locations throughout Canyon Lake, Caution signs are permanently installed. You probably walk past them regularly. For Emerald Cove, that test came back at a WARNING level. It is best to just avoid this area. The Canyon Lake POA will be posting signage in this area soon. Generally speaking, when in doubt, stay out. I have included images of both signs so you are aware of the difference. If you have questions on this specific issue, it is best contact the POA directly at (951) 244-6841. If you need additional assistance, please contact me at (951) 634-9019.
