Excited to dig in to our very first Take Broadmoor Home kit! Sooo many exciting projects for us to work on this month. The kids will love it. And these floating heads of my kids are cracking me up! Can’t wait to see what that’s all about!

Hi Broadmoor Family, Alumni, & Friends: Just a friendly reminder to sign up for our curriculum kit for September 2020. The deadline is August 19th at 7:00pm. T...his is a great opportunity to take a little piece of Broadmoor home! This month’s theme is All About Me. Our little ones will be provided with activities to learn about their senses, body parts and emotions. Each kit will have activities to keep the kids busy for the entire month. 1 curriculum kit per family. The activities are targeted for ages 3-5 years old but each activity can be modified to accommodate younger and older kids. Our recommended kit donation is $100.00, with a minimum donation of $50.00. Here is everything included with your donation: Curriculum Kit with projects developed by our wonderful directors and curriculum team. Two (2) pre-recorded circle/story time videos per week. One (1) live zoom per week for kids to share and interact with their peers. One (1) live zoom parent ‘happy-hour’ per month. One (1) live zoom parent education session per month. With this being a month-to-month membership, you can participate in any of the above activities, at your discretion. If you choose to sign up, please be sure to list the best email address to reach you, as we will be sending out links for the zoom sessions and pre-recorded circle time/story videos. [Sasha’s final post] Here are the last few (and way overdue) photos I wanted to share with you before officially saying goodbye (SIP zoom graduation and drive-by ceremony back in May). It has been my joy and privilege to serve as the Social Media Coordinator for Broadmoor Preschool the past 2 years. I truly loved this volunteer position, because I genuinely wanted to tell the whole world about how awesome Broadmoor is and that everyone should join! This place and the people ...I met through this preschool have truly transformed me and my family. My son who had severe food allergies at the time was welcomed with kindness and support. It took him time, but he totally came out of his shell through this parent participation model of play-based learning. I experienced deep healing and re-mothering of my own heart by being present and giving my son the precious gift of time. I gained friendships and mom soulmates that I know will always have my back. I met mentors who guided and encouraged me during challenging times. No preschool is perfect, and even at Broadmoor, there is always room for growth and improvement. But I know that this preschool was the perfect place for my family to learn and grow during this season. I will forever cherish the memories made here and continue to support Broadmoor as a proud alumni. I am also honored to leave behind my mural art in the beloved sandbox and hope that it will stand for many generations to come. Lastly, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to the current and retired directors Kacia Sato, Liz Pallesen Allen, Dale Gregory and Colleen for empowering me and helping me become a better parent.
