The Pavement Reconstruction Project on the north side of the airport is near completion! We have completely ripped up and are replacing all the old pavement from the west side of the Alpha row hangars to the plant nursery. We are looking forward to a smoother taxi for aircraft and less weed abatement for operations!

FREE Household Hazardous & Electronic Waste Recycling Roundup Event at Brackett Field Airport! Open to Los Angeles County residents 9:00AM - 3:00PM 12/21/2019. No business waste accepted.... Bring items in a sturdy box, preferably in their originallabeled containers. Limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip. No explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials, trash, tires, large appliances like refrigerators, stoves and washing machines or controlled substances. Be prepared to leave containers and boxes. Remove all other items from your trunk. Please remain in your vehicle during collection.

The Airport Manager of our sister airport, Compton Airport, Carlos Diaz, was abruptly displaced last week; his home was completely burned down while he was working and his family was out running errands.
