We had a sheet hanging behind us for our green screen. And we were just having fun. Not taking any of it serious. Crazy to think we will be celebrating 10 years later this year.

Unlike movements such as squats, deadlifts, and bench presses, this exercise is multi-planar with forces applied in multiple directions. ... This requires a great deal of intra- and inter-muscular coordination. The result? REAL FUNCTIONAL TRAINING!

This week’s Metabolic Effect class featuring @megzska @jasg.2016 and @adriennetoledo02080671. They each burnt 500 calories in 45 minutes. 15 of those minutes were spent doing mobility and core work. Then 30 minutes of Metabolic Intervals. They burnt 400 of the 500 calories during the 30 minutes of Metabolic Intervals. That’s an efficient 45 minutes!

Hello everybody! We are Adam and Adrienne. We started Body Effect in 2011 with the goal of inspiring people to live their best life - a life rooted in health, happiness, and impact. We know not everyone aspires to be a fitness model, but simply want to incorporate healthier habits in their daily lives, making health and fitness a lifestyle and not a trend. Between the two of us we have a Master's Degree in Sports and Health Science, Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling,... and multiple certifications in personal training and nutrition coaching. We believe everyone's fitness journey is unique and understand challenges look different from person to person. We have struggled in our own fitness journey and continue to grow. Our growth allows us to better serve our members and give them the best possible experience we can in health and fitness. When we're not in the gym we're either playing with our kids, visiting our parents, wine tasting, or a combination of all the above. With two young boys we have our hands full and we're thankful to have the energy to keep up with them!

How's it going everyone!? My name is Tren Biswell and I am a Performance Coach at Body Effect. My goal is to help you achieve your health and fitness goals while having the time of your life in the process! I know that starting this journey can be intimidating and it is a big change. We love nothing more than witnessing our clients get better. Wait, I shouldn't say that because the thing we love more is seeing family get better together! Rindi and her daughter Libbie have been with us for a few months now and both have improved their strength in EVERY exercise. Here we have Libbie doing some lunges with 25lb kettlebells. When she started she was using the 15lb kettlebells. Lets see some in the comments to give them their props for putting in the work!

One of the comments during yesterday’s team meeting was if people only knew how much goes into their workout programs. We create PROGRAMS, not WODs. I know WOD is a CrossFit term but this is in no way a shot at CrossFit. Almost ALL trainers create WODs instead of PROGRAMS. Not here at BE. Our system is science-driven. Each phase of training builds on the previous. Each week of training builds on the previous. Each session builds on the previous. Each exercise builds on th...e previous. There’s a flow to it all.
