Honoring our Veterans! We are deeply thankful to VNA Health for Honoring our resident Ret. Army Sargent Doyle Carlson and his lovely wife Eileen Carlson. On June 18, Ret. Lieutenant Commander US Navy Roger Deck officiated the pinning ceremony in which Doyle was presented with a Flag-pin, a Certificate of Appreciation, and a beautiful hand-made, flag-motif quilt.... Eileen accepted the honor on behalf of Doyle, and graciously shared stories of their meeting in WWII-time England. They've been married for 75 years. The ceremony was conducted through a window because of COVID prevention, which did not take away the profound emotional significance and the beauty of the gesture.
