Hi everyone...During this difficult time, getting together at Hodel's for the 65th Annual Jim Tyack Award Ceremony is impossible. HOWEVER, we have a plan in place to honor our Merv Alexander Coach's Award winner and all 10 male and female Jim Tyack Award finalists virtually. On Monday, May 11 we will host the ceremony on ZOOM. Most of you may be aware of this video conferencing website. With the help of our emcee, Vance Palm, we are excited to allow the Athletic Directors, Pr...incipals, coaches, the athletes and their families the ability to be a part of the celebration. We learned that AP tests are being administered during the time of our original 12:00 scheduled ZOOM meeting, which created a conflict for some of our finalists. Our new meeting is now scheduled for 3:00 on the same day, Monday, May 11. Our meeting room will open at 2:45 so everyone has time to log in Ceremony begins at 3:00 We will also have the ceremony LIVE on the Jim Tyack Award Facebook page. There is a limit of 100 invitees on ZOOM, so if you have not been invited to the ZOOM please join us on the Jim Tyack Outstanding High School Athlete Facebook page for a LIVE stream. We are really excited to present this year's awards in the best way we can under the current climate with COVID-19.
