Our sister college in Shasta is taking evacuees and their animals due to the Carr wildfire. They are communicating their needs via their facebook page. The staff at this college is amazing and working to take care of their community. Please consider lending a hand if you can.

Agriculture B1 CRN #73050 - Fall 2018 semester - Tuesday / Thursday 2:00PM to 3:25 PM at the Southwest Campus Room 204. Taught by Mr. Jerry Poncetta . Although this class is designated as a lecture course , there will be several hands-on, voluntary learning activities available in the areas of livestock handling , plant propagation , basic farm equipment operation and identification and more. Regular attendance will be encouraged and the focus of this course will be the learning of fundamental agriculture in a relaxed and pleasant learning environment. Among the various topics covered will be U.S. , California and Kern County agriculture as well as current events happening in the area.

The Bc Ag awards dinner is underway how quickly this year has gone it's seems like only yesterday when my term as AG club President began at this very dinner before I end my term I would like to thank a few people Flor Yanez Julie Robert elka aliyah Kyle Chase and the BC Ag Club members thank you for everything you did for AG club I would also like to thank the advisors Mr ono Mr mcraw and Sally sterns Lastly i would like to thank Mr Riley for being so understanding when my commitment to AG club conflicted with his class finally before I end my term I would like to congratulate the incoming team of AG officers Jason Erin Bdot and kat may you have a great year as you represent AG club
