As many of you know, our office has been closed since last Monday in order to do our part to help flatten the curve. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and working on developing strict policies and procedures based on recommendations from CDC and CMS so we are prepared and ready when we begin to open the clinic back up. Our first priority is providing a safe and healthy environment for all of us. In the meantime, for those of you who haven’t been into the of...fice more recently, who have not yet spent time with me using the Core360belt to retrain 360 breathing, here is a video discussing the first step to retraining good diaphragmatic breathing. Working on this can be so helpful in managing the stress during times of uncertainty such as these. Stay well, take care of yourself and your family and make sure to get out and get some fresh air each day. I look forward to the day when I see you back in the clinic and we can continue to help you move forward and reach your rehab, wellness and performance goals.

There should be no strain in the neck or low back when we perform this type of exercise; but many of my clients report feeling strain or pain. When we create proper core stabilization (which depends on good IAP - intra-abdominal pressure) our low back and neck become stable and supported. This means better results and no pain!

Love to see the @core360belt being utilized here. The ability to keep your trunk, or core pressurized during the golf swing is so key. With proper intra-abd...ominal pressure (IAP), you are better able to stabilize your spine and rotate your pelvis over that lead side leg! Thanks for tagging us @denvergolfperformance Posted @withrepost @denvergolfperformance Lead side transition work . Doing the Dak as it’s gotten dubbed and popular this football season, a great drill/sensation for feeling lead side lower body and core work together . Great to utilize the @whatsthatstrap with a low line of pull to get proper portion of glutes/lower half active . Best of luck to our guy @andrewwrightco kicking off his season @golfamtour out in Palm Springs this weekend . #DGP #golfperformance #mytpi #golfworkout #coloradogolf #core360belt #obsessedwithiap #functionaltraining #physicaltherapy
