A very hearty congratulations to Siamak and Timmy for earning their PhDs this Fall: Dr. Siamak Faridani. Models and Algorithms for Crowdsourcing Discovery. Dr. Timmy Siauw. Integer Programs for High Dose Rate Brachytherapy Needle and Dose Planning that Directly Optimize Clinical Objectives.... It's been a great year in the lab. Dmitry started a faculty position at WPI, Jur, Ron, and Dez are thriving at Univ of Utah, UNC, and Texas A&M. Sachin Patel will start as a postdoc next week and Anthony Levandowski is heading Google's Robotic Car project. Many of us got together at ICRA this Spring. We have a fantastic new group of students and many exciting projects: I wish I had space to give updates on everything. Links to projects and papers:
