Our ships are ready to set sail for this Saturday. Based on FLY scenic designer Anna Louizos’ sketches of a ship, Erin Pennell created these mini versions for Military Family Day this Saturday at the La Jolla Playhouse. We can’t wait to see kids and families bring their Neverland vessels to life, using recycled materials. ‘cause at Art FORM we know it’s FLY to use sustainable materials. #arteducationwithreuse #creativereuse #shipshape #vesseldesign #setsail #teachingartist ...#communityartspartnership #recycledmaterials #FLY #lajollaplayhouse #FLYmusical See more

We loved working with SDGE volunteers and were happy to share the bounty of reusable materials. Everyone was in a creative zone, inspired to make and share unique cards for those they may be less fortunate or without a lot of support. Thanks to volunteers Madison and Morgan for helping to set this up. We are thrilled that SDG&E and others know they can source diverted materials at Art FORM for a low cost donation, which supports out school workshops and community partnerships. We shared the love today by offering free wrapping paper and cards out front of the store to anyone passing by.

You can help inspire the next generation, and empower them with the experience of creative reuse, and they will in turn, bring that awareness to our community, with their creative problem solving, unique point of view, and a willingness to conserve. Their expression becomes part of a larger vision, where art and creative endeavors are the norm, sourced sustainably, for others to learn from and to connect with. Please help us reach our goal of $40,000 to empower over 600 kids ...to be environmental stewards through creative reuse. Your donation helps cover operational costs including paying teachers, increased rent, and diverting over 10 tons of recycled materials. Thank you. Donate: https://www.paypal.me/ArtFORMSanDiego
