Servers Daniel and Sergio have recently returned from the town Tequila, which is an official UNESCO World Heritage Site. There they learned about the history, process, and cultual significance of tequila (the spirit). Be sure to ask them any of your burning questions on tequila. Bar Manager Andi is recently back from Puebla, Mexico where she sipped Mezcal and visited the Ancho Reyes factory. We’ve been using Ancho Reyes in our own barrel aged cocktail- The Officer’s Club, along with mezcal, Campari, and quina. And checkout that awesome apron she scored! Nuestra gerente de barra, Andi acaba de regresar de Puebla, México donde probo mezcal y visitó la fábrica de Ancho Reyes. Nosotros usamos Ancho Reyes en un cóctel añejado en barrica, se llama Of...ficer’s Club, además lleva mezcal, Campari, y quina. ¡Vean también el mandil hermoso que consiguió con Ancho Reyes! Saturday is National Margarita Day! Here at Arguello we serve Tommy’s style margaritas because we believe it better highlights the tequila. When using high quality, 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila, that’s made by the best producers in the business, we don’t want the tequila to be masked by sugary mixes. We use fresh lime juice and a touch of agave, that’s it! Our menu reflects some of our favorite tequilas and mezcales for a margarita. Come in and try one! Valentines Day is Friday and we have some delicious specials for you and your date. The cocktail of the night, Mi Encanto, is the perfect mix of Sotol, raspberry, and amaro. This drink carries depth of flavor with a velvety finish. Also an octopus plate with ancho chili salsa with avocado and radish on top of a bed of quinoa. We look forward to serving you on this night of love. El día del amor y la amistad es este viernes y les tenemos especiales deliciosos para que disfruten de esta noche especial. We would like to present our new seasonal menu for winter curated by our Chef, José Álvarez. Although it may be cold outside, this menu has dishes that will warm you up. Some of the new dishes included are: grilled filet mignon with a charred jalapeño salsa, mole colorado with corn masa dumplings, a seafood stew with calamari, lingcod, mussels, and shrimp, as well as chicken with a creamy tomato and dried chile sauce.
