**REMINDER** We are closed Dec 22- Jan 3rd Wishing you and your family a wonderful Holiday Season! We will all miss you over the Holiday break and can’t wait to get back in the pool with you! 2021 will be a bigger and better year for all of us!

**REMINDER** We still are open and will remain open! We still are being extra cautious as the numbers rise and continue to rise. Kids who are 2 and older must wear a mask upon entry. We are still only allowing one parent/guardian per swimmer! We are constantly staying on top of cleaning , sanitizing all surfaces every hour. We just ask you to make sure you are wearing your mask over mouth and nose and to keep those hands clean! See you Monday!

With the Holiday season upon us, we are reminded of the many gifts we have been given. With that in mind, Aqua Duks has decided to share in the spirit of the holidays by establishing our first annual Giving Tree and we would like to invite you all to spread some holiday cheer. This year many of you know we have partnered with Hope Floats, an organization that helps sponsor families that cannot afford swim lessons. We have had very successful fundraisers thus far and it’s all thanks to you! For our Giving Tree Fundraiser we will have a selection of ornaments for you to choose from at our front desk. If you so desire, there will be an option to donate to Hope Floats on the back of each ornament. Building trust is an integral part of the learn to swim process. The best instructors are those who are aware of the importance of building a trusting relationship with the students and parents. Parents are the ones who put their faith in our swim school to provide their children with a fun and safe learning experience in acquiring essential swimming and water safety skills and a genuine love of water. An advantage that our instructors have in teaching is that parent and their babies already have a trust bond. This is a bond that our instructors can build on with new swimmers who may not be familiar with our instructors’ faces, voices or with the swimming environment.

On November 15th we will be taking underwater photos with Santa (Mr.Scott) from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. It is a 10 minute session and the session is $40. We will send out 5 photos digitally through email. It is a first come first serve on the time slots, so book now! It is ideal that your swimmer knows how to hold their breath and doesn't have any seperation anxiety/stranger danger. We are still only allowing one parent per swimmer. Please have swimmer dressed and ready to go be...fore session starts. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

No Duks of the Week this week due to not swimming most of last week! But here is a little inside scoop of some of the swimmers at Aqua Duks doing our safety swim! Our biggest responsibility as a swim school is to teach water safety. One of our goals is for everyone to have the ability to roll over to their backs and float independently. This is a crucial safety skill. If a swimmer gets into a situation where they are extremely fatigued, we want them to be able to roll ove...r to their backs to relax and catch their breath. Attention Aqua Duks Families unfortunately we had to close today due to the poor air quality. We can in today and turned the vent fans on and the facility started to smell of smoke this ultimately made us feel it was unsafe to run lessons for our students.
